Because kids sip from the rim (not a spout), it trains them to drink the same way they will from adult cups — making that transition much smoother later on. The Oh! Top seats tightly in the cup opening, covered in micro-slits that only open under the light pressure of sipping. This means there's no single spout or straw — kids drink from any point around the rim, any angle, any direction. A stainless steel ring inside keeps the opening perfectly circular no matter how hard they grip or chew on it.
That's the goal — and in practice, yes. Because the entire top is covered in micro-slits, there's no correct angle or orientation. Most kids figure it out within the first few uses. It's also the only kids' cup design that directly translates to learning to drink from open adult cups, since the rim shape and drinking motion are the same.
